What you seem to experience might be related to the directories. What i mean is this.The actual location of Mozilla files are different with each version of Mozilla.So if you have in the menu a Mozilla entry that points to an old ( like Mozilla ...Mozilla-0.9.2 Mozilla-0.9.3 ) Mozilla directory ..of course it wont work. What i recommend is that you use the menu editor (gmenu & as root ) and take a look at the directory in which it looks for the Mozilla executable file and adjust these entries to reflect where your Mozilla actually is.
