Redhat 7.1 supports software RAID which will allow you to mirror a hard drive to a second drive. The operating system cannot boot from a secondary drive because before booting, there is no OS yet. Maybe your BIOS skips a defect master drive and boots from a second hard drive, but I wouldn't depend on it. If you really need this you could try hardware RAID devices like the DupliDisk or controllers like the (discontinued) 3ware Escalades. groeten, Kj [EMAIL PROTECTED] --- I'm sure that if there was a software way of doing it, Windows XP would turn your machine casing translucent. _______________________________________________ Seawolf-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/seawolf-list
