Actually, in case of gcc, you want gcc-2.96-NN where NN is the latest from
Red Hat you find (including rawhide), but this is for gcc-2.96 only and not
a general rule. The intent is that every new gcc rpm should be a good errata
candidate (but unless you want a sparc gcc-2.96, 2.96-98 and 2.96-99 are
otherwise the same).
