Fot some reson lilo can't find the secondary loader. >1. Is your disk too large and you are not using lba32 option instead of >the linear option in lilo.con? 1) The size of my hard disk is 3G, whole disk for Linux. I did not recognize whether in lba32 or linear in lilo.con. How to find it out. My partition table is as follows: 50 MB native, /boot Swap 250 MB (2 x 128 MB RAM) Rest / native I used standard mode (recommended) to install RedHat 7.1. >2. Is the disk you are using correctly recognised in the BIOS? The disk worked fine when I installed Linux-Mandrake 7.2. I also tried in another hard disk as well as in another PC with the same result. Are the ISO Images in trouble question ??? I have downloaded the ISO Images from the same website twice. The problem remained unchanged. The curiosity is at end of installation the PC hanged but the screen showed files installed completed, 0 (zero) file left. I can download all RPMs in Windows environment but can't find a solution to transfer all files to the 3G hard disk. Also may-be the 3G hard disk is not big enough, while storing all RPMs, to install RedHat 7.1 Kindly help !!! I almost give up. Thanks in advance. B.R.
