Er... IIRC adduser's behaviour is based on /etc/skel permissions (I can be
wrong, no Linux here to check).

Subject: Permissions on new users' home directories

I am trying to setup a web server, and I want all users' home directories
to
be chmod 711, so that they can have their own web pages. When I use
adduser
now, it creates their /home directories chmod 700, and I cannot figure out
where it is getting that number. Any clues as to where to change it?

Thanks,

Forrest
