Yes. It carshed once on Tuesday.
I had posted the  portion of  /var/log/message to the list.
My System is a Proliant5500 PIII/1GB/36GB with 
SmartArray 221 controller. I notices long
intermittent disk activity (lasts for a minute or so).
And when it crashed,
it was doing something with the disk array.
