If everything else is set up correctly ( nfs daemons running etc.):
Did you check the /etc/hosts.allow on the nfs-server machine? I think
nfs
mounts are tcpwrapper secured per default, and you need something like

portmap:        hanna, goethe

in /etc/hosts.allow to allow hanna and goethe to do nfs mounts from the
nfs-server machine.
