Hello all, I want to install a network printer on Redhat 7.1. My network printer(HP Laserjet 5N) is hooked to a print server from 3Com, having an IP address (from the print server), and being used for Microsoft NT networking environment with all the pc's sending their print outs to.
I would like to know if I can also see this printer from my redhat machine as a network printer and install it as easy as on windows 98/me? or I have to install a third-party software like jetdirect to make it work with redhat???
