The Intel 845G/GL is not supported even in
Red Hat Linux 7.3. The Intel web site suggests
using the "vesa" driver as a
workaround. That has not worked for us. After the first
logout
from an X session, the display goes
blank. The Limbo beta does have Intel 845 as a choice
in Xconfigurator, but I have been unable to
get it to work in anything other than 8 bit mode.
