Hi I'm using wu-ftpd as an FTP server on a linux box. I'm testing on linux
7.2 but i think it's a general linux query I have. I'm trying to set up a
good FTP server where the user is jailed into a directory and sees that
directory as "/" i.e. he's chroot'd o that directory. I have read about
Guest FTP accounts and how to set them up in the www.wu-ftpd.net site and I
have followed the instructions step-by-step however I still have the same
problem. Once I ftp to the machine I can still perform cd .. and I can
actually read the parent directory or even worse can read the /etc directory
too!!! How can I lock the FTP user to a directory and prohibit access to any
other directory except his assigned FTP working directory?

Best regards,

Gilbert
