I believe Dave's answer to be the correct one.
If the Windows Client is SSH Secure Shell, then you can locate the
hostkeys by clicking Edit -> Settings -> Host Keys. Locate the key
which has the OLD server name, and delete it. The next time you connect
to that server, you will be prompted to save the server's hostkey to
disk. Verify the fingerprint, and then accept. The error message
should go away.
