Hi Jennifer,

Please upgrade to SSH Secure Shell 3.0.1 (for Unix
platforms). Earlier versions of SSH Secure Shell (v. 2.x.x)
did not support password expiry; 3.0.x versions do.

Porting SSH Secure Shell to the Mac platform is currently
being considered by SSH Communications Security; however, as
no decisions have been made regarding this, no availability
estimates or time frames are available at this time.

F-Secure, an SSH Communications Security partner and a
distributor for the ssh secure remote login application,
does have a Mac port of Secure Shell available. F-Secure
sells their versions under the F-Secure SSH product name. I
am not sufficiently familiar with their licensing structure
to tell you whether you can use it for free in an
educational setting - you will need to find that out from
F-Secure directly.

Hope this helps answer your questions.

Best Regards,

Steph
