I believe you can find a huge thread on this in the archives (try
searching that SF's site the backend database seems to be back up after
an absence).
Some choices;
Ethereal,
Snort,
Tcp Dump,
Iris,
Sniffer Pro
The first 3 are free (I believe)
The last 2 are commercial. One from the great team at eeye and the
other from NAI.
