My thought would be to get out of Dodge. The company you are working for
doesn't care about you or security. Start looking for a new company to work
for. There are a lot of IT jobs out there and you should have the
qualifications to work for them in some capacity. You do not have to quit
your present job while you look, that way you will still have an income
coming in.
If what you say toward the end of your e-mail is correct (about having a fall
guy). Get out as quickly as possible.
Work is suppose to be fun. You spend to much time there everyday to get sick
because of it and that is what will happen.
