Do you mean VNC (http://www.uk.research.att.com/vnc/)?  Awesome for remote
Windows administration, and completely free.  Yeah, make sure to f/w off
5800 and 5900, VNC has only minimal auth.  You'll need a VPN or simply an
SSH tunnel into your private net to do it right.
