I believe you can contact ISC2 and if you provide a name they will
tell you within 24 hours if someone has achieved their CISSP or not.

I also know that you can contact Cisco systems to check on someone's
certification level. Sounds like a lot of work for HR before you
bring in people for job interviews but to each their own.

I am not sure how this works with m$ but I am sure someone else on
the list knows.

HTH,

Leo

Subject: Verification of Certifications

Working with Human Resources to hire IT Managers and Technicians, we
find
MANY people who put a certification on their resume and when we
interview,
we find out they are either "almost" there or they plan to get it.
Is there
any way to verify a person's certification from the vendors who
authorize
the certifications?

Thanks,
