Exactly, I even had reduce copies of my certificates that I keep as
wallet sized so when I do visit a client and they want verification I
pullout my laminated cards and show them for verification. Even tell
them they can call and verify the numbers if they would like.

If it matters, ISC2 sends CISSPs both cards (mine is in my wallet) and
plaques (your mileage may vary on what kind) along with their
congratulatory letter.  ISACA send a letter and a card (mine is in my
wallet) for CISAs.
