The book "Linux Firewalls" (New Riders publishing I
believe) is a decent beginning reference for ipchains.
The new edition focuses on iptables however, so if
by any chance you do get the book, make sure it's the
right one. It contains thoroughly explained step-by-
step details on how to set up a fairly decent firewall.
