hi

IpChains is a Firewall which is very comfortable and secure, IpChains can be
found at www.freshmeat.net .

you can use Ipchains to deny "3v1l" packets, which may cause some harm, to
reach your inner network, IpChains has several options to decide which
pakets to block

i prefer to use FreeBSD as router OS, because it ships with many
networktools, which are very easy to use for setting up your LAN

and route packets. download it at www.freebsd.org. u'll find some help-files
and faq

there too.

bye Michael
