I fought this for a very long time and it comes down to if the standard admin attempts don't work, the unit has to be shipped in to 3com to have it replaced... Or at least the superstack 1000- not sure about the 3000. I put a lot of time into talking with 3com and the engineers I spoke with assured me it has to be returned or a tech can come onsite and swap the whole board. I even tried to brute force it for weeks but finally gave up. I pulled the unit apart hoping for a flash eeprom but no luck :( Sorry From: "Michel Medina" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Sunday, April 14, 2002 9:15 PM Subject: Backdoor password 3Com SS2 1000/3000/DesktopSwitch > Hello, > > Does someone know the backdoor passwords from the older 3Com SuperStackII > 1000/3000 series ?
