I heard back from him...he was talking about
'netbios-ssn'...basically, NetBIOS, as it appears from
the outside when the system is scanned via nmap and
finds port 139 open.

He made a typo...but your response shows how such
things can be rather easily misunderstood.

Also, it's odd that in this day and age, someone would
be asking if there are any vulnerabilities to this...
