Unsure. I know that RedHat Linux 6.2 used to do the same thing, even if you told the installer specifically NOT to install it. You then have to manually disable it and uninstall it. I'm unaware of sendmail's track record (only recently got into security stuff). Can you recommend some links regarding this ??
