And the automated testing group has identified any errors in their wrappers and are in process of changing said wrappers to recognize arbitrary values for $root. The goal from the testing perspective is to be able to have / or /root or one host with / and a peer with / root (or /w00t or anything else) and have everything work agnosticly of this property. Once they are done, 98% of the issues will be resolved and going "cowboy" to see what breaks is entirely appropriate, IMO. -Paul
