    In the past I've seen people ask for dual community sponsorship from 
both Security and Network for network security protocols.  I think the 
only difference in being sponsored by both is a softlink from the 
network side but that may be helpful and kerberos needs a bigger 
presence if you are going to start asking others to add kerberos/GSS 
support.
