hi i am quite new to solaris i am using solaris express
i heard there is a built in ipfilter how can i go about configuring it Here is what i found on the web Edit /etc/ipf/pfil.ap and de-comment the appropriate device name (use ifconfig -a to figure out what it is). Edit /etc/ipf/ipf.conf to your liking. Check online documentation for the syntax. Becareful since it reads from top to bottom and other things that iptables does differently But i do not see a pfil.ap in there to edit Right now i wanna lock this down especially ping i need a firewall and am use to using pf when i use BSD Can someone help me please with Solaris express and a pf firewall Thank You This message posted from opensolaris.org
