Recently we have been informed that DSEE6.0 will not be included in the Common
Criteria evaluation for update 3. However, JDS 5.2 is being evaluated with
update 3. Because of this we have turned our attention to JDS 5.2. We have
been able to install JDS 5.2 in the global zone and configure SMC to manage it.
We were able to add a user and a host/zone with SMC in the global zone, and on
a labeled zone we were able to successfully authenticate the user. To give a
little more detail of our configuration, our update 3 TX server has JDS 5.2
installed in global and SMC configured to manage LDAP. We also have 2 labeled
zones (unclassified, confidential) running and setup as ldap clients that were
configured via SMC. Our user was also added via SMC. Our test consisted of
logging into the unclassified zone from the login screen and not just using
zlogin, su, etc....

Our next step is to configure a mobile device with ldap installed as a server
(not a client) and test ldap replication with JDS 5.2. As we learn more, we
will continue to update this thread.
