I believe this will address your problem with sysadmin role not opening
terminals. From the 8/07 release notes, Trusted $HOME Ownership Incorrect When
Administrative Role Created (6579845),

check that the role's /export/home is owned by the role and has the correct
group (default sysadmin). This does not solve the problem of primaryadmin's
role opening in the wrong workspace in CDE. There is a similar problem in TJDS
where if you log out with a primaryadmin workspace at admin_low and when you
log back in you are asked to log into primaryadmin and when you do it opens a
workspace other then admin_low and you have to change the workspace back to
admin_low. I was thinking I had something configured wrong but now I believe
it is possibly a bug. Thanks for bringing it to my attention that I'm not the
only one with this problem.
