The status on that is, if you do it to your system you are unsupported and unsupportable because it will get corrupted by patches/package updates. As far as I'm aware that is not the future direction of the LDAP client in Solaris. I know a few things but I'm not at liberty to comment since it isn't my project. -- Darren J Moffat
