Sr. Security Software Engineer - Austin, TX <<This is NOT a network engineering job>> Description: Seeking a Developer to help design and develop an Intrusion Detection System from the ground up. This individual will be the development group's security product expert and will be instrumental in the development of next generation security-focused products, which feature detection and suppression of a broad range of threats with line-rate processing capability. Responsibilities: *Actively participate in the development of product requirements and software design of security products *Mentor other developers regarding security issues and participate in design, code, and test reviews. *Develop lead responsibility for major software components, from initial design through product release.
