The MITRE Corporation, Information Security Engineer/Scientist (INFSEC) Senior Staff
Description: Work closely with the sponsor as a senior system engineer in the sponsor's program. Provide all aspects of support for system security to include design, implementation, and certification and accreditation. This position is located in Huntsville, AL Education/Experience Required: B. S. in computer science or related field. Familiarity with commercial security architectures and their implementations and with commercial security solutions such as PKI, firewalls, and intrusion detection tools is desired. Familiarity with DOD/Army Information Assurance related policies and standards such as the DITSCAP and AR 380-19 is a plus. Applicants selected for this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Only US citizens are eligible for a security clearance. For this position, MITRE will consider only applicants with security clearances or applicants who are eligible for security clearances.
