Newport Consulting has developed a process to implement a comprehensive approach to security. Our service offerings are: 1. Security Risk Assessment and Gap analysis 2. Security Policy Development 3. Solution development for each risk 4. Integration of the suite of security services Responsibilities Work independently or lead project teams at customer locations to assess and coordinate the deliver of security solutions. Provide customer deliverables via documentation and/or enacted security improvements. This position requires direct interaction with customers. Lead team/customer to provide risk assessment, needs assessments and coordinate designs with the technical services group to properly address security solutions. Develop new revenue generating opportunities by working to understand customer's business needs, discussing these with the sales and technical services teams, craft proposals and solutions and persuasively communicate them orally and in writing. Qualifications 5+ years consulting experience with big 5 consulting firm Recognized expert with HIPPA and GLB regulations Thorough understanding of ISO17799 regulations Demonstrated ability to plan and manage engagements along with ensuring deliverables meet work plan specifications and deadlines. Significant project management experience (PMI certified preferred) 10+ years in the security industry demonstrating an advanced knowledge of: - Security Practices (Audits, planning, design, implementation, testing and management) - LAN/WAN internetworking technology - Policy and Procedure review and implementation - Cryptography tools, methods, systems and protocols - Networking and Applications Protocols - Firewall Technology Education / Certifications: - BS/BA degree in related field or equivalent experience - CISSP - CISA - Networking and Firewall certifications Please reply with resume, cover letter (with salary requirements) both in Word attached documents to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
