The salary range for Positions up to $100K plus with the standard full benefits 
package including up to a 5% match for 401K.

Consulting Engineer - Specializing in Network Security Engineering

POSITION: 
As a Consulting Engineer you will be responsible for helping solve customer problems 
using the complete line of Software products.  You will be an active participant in 
the development of software models simulating the behavior and performance of network 
protocols. You will work closely with leading communications technology 
providers/developers and be continuously exposed to exciting new developments in the 
field. 

Your areas of focus will be:
�       Modeling telecommunications systems 
�       Evaluating vulnerabilities within client networks
�       Debugging and validating models 
�       Preparing model documentation and participating in technical meetings both 

Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
�       Researching protocol standards definitions (IETF documents, drafts and RFCs) 
�       Researching state of the art Information Assurance concepts
�       Researching vendor-specific implementations of protocols 
�       Implementing models 
�       Designing engineering tools that support optimizing protocol configurations, 
protection schemes and network resiliency

QUALIFICATIONS: 
Here's what you should bring to the table: 
�       US Citizenship (required) with a willingness to work in Sensitive Programs 
which require background investigations
�       Top Secret clearance required for contractual purposes
�       BS in electrical engineering, computer science, systems engineering or a 
related field with a background in network modeling, simulation and operations 
research 
�       Solid understanding of Information Security/Information Assurance  
�       Thorough knowledge of software engineering, programming languages (C/C++), 
object-oriented design and UNIX 
�       Strong technical and oral/written communication skills are important as the 
individual will produce functional specifications, interact with vendors and interface 
with clients 
�       Broad-based communications network background in technologies (ATM, IP, MPLS, 
Frame Relay, etc.), services, and hardware 
�       Must be willing to travel at least 10-20% 
�       A can-do attitude and a serious desire to have an impact on your company and 
the industry
