Position:Info System Security Engineer (Orlando, Florida) Job Summary:The successful candidate in this role will be an analytical, critical and creative thinker. Candidate will: -Provide engineering support and deployment of security systems. -Provide technical information security review and engineering of IT projects. -Provide application security review of software development projects. -Provide testing and validation of network and system security. Required- Knowledge of: Various O/S: Microsoft NT 4.0 / 2000 / Sun Solaris OS TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, SNMP, VPN IPsec Computer viruses, Trojans, and hacker techniques Networking fundamentals and advance network concepts Packet filter and application proxy firewalls Intrusion Detection Systems Intrusion Signatures and Analysis Network Security Web server security Vulnerability Testing Application security At least 5+ years of information security experience with progressive responsibility and indication of continuous self-improvement in security/technology skill set. Preferred- Certifications (at least one of the following, preferably two): -Cisco Security Specialist 1 (CSS1) Certification -SANS GIAC Certifications: Essentials, FW, or Intrusion Detection -Trusecure ICSA -CISSP Experience with: -Security Operation Center setup and design -Cisco VPN/Security Management System (VMS) -Pentasafe VigilEnt Policy Center (VPC) -Pentasafe VigilEnt Security Manager (VSM) -ISS Real Secure/ Cisco Intrusion Detection System -Vulnerability testing : Nessus, NMAP, WAR dialing, ISS Internet scanner, etc. -Cisco VPNs -RSA SecurID -Application/Project information security review.
