Must have Security Operations Center Experience System Audit Network Intrusion Detection 24X7 Candidate MUST be US Citizen. Salary: 80-95k base salary with Benefits Job Description: Network Intrusion Detection Host-Based Intrusion Detection Network Vulnerability Scanning Host-based Vulnerability Scanning Computer Security Incident Response Provide risk management support functions and security engineering to include technical consulting support for the integration of computer security best practices and performing detailed technical reviews of documentation to ensure computer security integration. Participate in computer security meetings and activities. Assist with application computer security integration. Support the development of all computer security related materials. Provide reports to superiors regarding effectiveness of data security and make recommendations for the adoption of new procedures. Education: BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience Required Skills: Minimum of 2 years of professional experience. Must have a detailed understanding of networking (LANs, WANs, TCP/IP, firewalls, routers, etc.). Experience with the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Experience with penetration testing. Superior writing skills (samples required). Independent thinker with in-depth, hands-on experience implementing various security mechanisms for multi-platforms and operating systems. Must have risk assessment experience as well as experience conducting security testing with off-the-shelf security testing and risk assessment tools such as ISS, CyberCop, ESM, RiskWatch and Exacta.
