ArcSight is interested in immediately hiring a pre-sales security engineer
in the Washington D.C. and New York City areas to support multiple account
managers throughout the East Coast.
Required skill set:
Pre-sales experience in the security industry - four years minimum
Excellent communication/presentation skills - verbal and written
Excellent people skills with experience working in large enterprise
accounts as part of an account team
Willingness to travel - roughly 50%, decreasing over time
Ability to understand and communicate business and technical
requirements to mixed audiences from executives to line-level engineers
CISSP and Federal Government experience is a big plus
Expertise with various security products - Firewalls, NIDS, HIDS,
Scanners, etc
UNIX/Linux/Microsoft System Administration
TCP/IP and General Network Administration
Other valuable skills are - Java programming and Database experience
