Work History:

Global Network Architect Microsoft, Mountain View, CA
        Jan 2001 - Present
I am responsible for the design and implementation of some of the largest
networks on the planet. The Microsoft properties including Hotmail, Passport, Search,
Notify, Xbox and HailStorm were my designs. I was one of two primary architects for
each property involved in the .NET project. I was the architect in California; the
other was in Redmond, WA. This included commuting to Washington several times per
month for close to 13 months. I also led a team of 6 architects for customer LAN
design. Some customer designed networks were audited by the FBI, FTC and EPIC. LAN
design included, bank-like security, load balancing, layer 3 switching, IDS systems,
Firewalls, and VPNs. During the Passport and Wallet designs, I was bonded by the FBI.
I also did WAN design, and merged two ASs behind one. I also worked with customers
such as Citigroup and Ebay for customer links and networks. I also was on the
negotiations team for vendors. My specialty was with telco ban
 dwidth solutions.

Network Engineer - Google Inc., Mountain View, CA
        Dec 1999 to Dec2000
I was part of a team supporting all aspects of corporate and production
networks, specializing in Network Engineering. I was the first Neteng at Google,
building their network from a single homed 800 machines to 15,000 machines on 2 coasts
and 3 datacenters. I evaluated routers, switches, loadbalancers, servers, collocation
and bandwidth based on price and performance. I did expansion, policy planning and
implementation. I did design and maintenance of 3 datacenter, 15,000 machine,
multi-homed network. I also invented and implemented security policies for the
network.

Systems/Network Administrator - Hotmail, Sunnyvale, CA
        April 1999 to Jan 2000
I maintained, upgraded, and supported one of the top fastest growing networks
on the Internet, FreeBSD and Solaris servers. I supported security policy for
network. I was responsible for 100% uptime and care of machines. I implemented a
site wide upgrade of 4000 machines with minimal downtime. I also configured Cisco
local-directors and routers. Maintain multiple peering, multi-homed networks.

Systems Administrator Cybergate, St. Louis, MO
       Apr 1996 to Mar 1999
Performed sendmail to Qmail migration. Administered Solaris, FreeBSD and Linux
machines. Supported DS-3 customer links. Managed security policy. Tuned Pix
