Sygate Technologies, Inc.™, founded in 1995, is the leading provider of 
enterprise-class software solutions that extend and enforce security 
policy to protect internet devices, mobile computers and corporate 
desktops from intrusion and misuse.  

We are looking for a Senior Federal Territory Manager to join our pre-IPO 
start-up organization.  Position will be responsible for direct and 
channel sales of Sygate Technologies products in the Federal region.  

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

�       Meet or exceed sales quota objectives on a quarterly/annual basis. 
�       The development and implementation of a strategic account plan.  
Create opportunity assessments of key accounts through accomplished and 
consultative selling.
�       Understand the changing strategies of all accounts, find 
opportunities in these accounts to expand the Sygate relationship, and 
develop tactics to maximize the resulting revenue to Sygate.
�       Assure maximum Sygate "mind share" and a positive relationship 
within target accounts including "selling high" and "selling wide", while 
gaining the trust required to understand the inner-workings, needs and 
requirements of all departments and parties in the organization. 
�       Knowledge and experience preparing pricing and RFP responses.
�       Be proactive in managing current pipeline by reviewing open leads 
and engaging internal resources as needed to close the deal.
�       Stay current on new products, technology, changes in the industry, 
etc. Maintain a high level of technical competency.
�       The ability to work successfully with systems integrators and VARs.
�       Provide a communications channel between the account and Sygate 
Product Marketing and Sales Management to assist in product and policy 
planning.

Qualifications: 
�       Absolute minimum of 5 years Federal sales area selling Security 
Software Solutions ie Intrusion Detection, VPN, Policy Enforcement, 
Firewall
�       Intel experience a plus
�       Verifiable track record of success
�       W-2 history of $250k plus for 3+ years
�       Proven ability to win 1M+ agency wide bids
�       Experience in recruiting Federal resellers and with a proven track 
record of moving over 10M through the Federal channel
�       Knowledge and experience preparing pricing and RFP responses.
�       Experience selling in a complex environment (multiple contacts at 
multiple levels within the agency) 
�       Excellent personal and communication skills 
�       Ability to listen
�       Strong commitment to integrity, follow through, and customer 
orientation 
�       Highly motivated self starter 
�       Bachelor's degree 
�       Travel required.
