The Role Accountable to the Board of Directors Reporting to the
MD
Responsible for Sales/Marketing/Development/Strategy
and Managerial
support of the Security Practice.
Responsible for developing security related services
ensuring the
business stream is profitable and able to
fully exploit the potential market.
Components include:
Development of ongoing income streams
Marketing
Strategy
Soft networking
Management
Critical Factors Creating and maintaining the Security
Practice�s Turnover
with the correct margin to the agreed targets
Relationship building through a network of partners
Building cost effective solutions that are consistent
with customer
requirements and within budget
Ensuring the company�s services are appealing to their
customers and
fees are consistent with the acceptable norm.
Continually researching the market, trends and
competitors capability
Assistance to other working streams to ensure they
remain profitable
Reporting performance metrics and success criteria
back to management
and raising issues that may effective delivery
Ensuring customer data remains secure in the hands of
the company and
proper change control methods are adopted to ensure consistency.
Developing and creation of the company�s own internal
security policies
Key Tasks Man and resource management
Strategic development to Pre/Post sales support
Senior Security consultancy
Development of Managed service
Client delivery
Product development
Knowledge dissemination
Proposal development
Input into Advertising and marketing
On-the-job training
Editorials
Recruitment
Partnership relationship
Remaining within budgetary constraints and the overall
company directive
