Duties: Responsible for all aspects of product management for assigned product in Symantec's Network IDS product line. General duties include, but are not limited to: product strategy, market research, customer research, product specification, feature prioritization, and product launch. Specific duties include but are not limited to: the creation of business plans, revenue forecasts, competitive market analysis, product roadmap, product functional requirements, launch plans. "Just Do It!" attitude a major plus. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience. MBA is a plus. Must possess a technical understanding of enterprise security software. Two to five years Product Management experience delivering corporate software solutions is required. Networking and security background a plus. Should have led product, strategic or business planning functions in a previous organization. Ability to work in a challenging, fast-paced environment in a dynamic, changing market. Action oriented, creative, customer centered, interpersonal savvy, positive attitude, enthusiasm, and a team player.
