Sr. Software Engineer
A great opportunity to work with a top notch team in the database security arena! You will be working with a small group of highly talented engineers in the development of an exciting new product.
We are looking for a very creative Senior Software Engineer who can assume the roles of DBA, schema architect, and tuning/performance/scalability expert for databases. You must have at least 5 years experience in software development with emphasis on Java, JDBC, J2EE, production OLTP environments, solid multi-tier application development experience, Java and a thorough knowledge of Web based n-tier architectures.
Of course, you need to be able to participate fully in meetings and brainstorming sessions and have the creativity and imagination to provide us with valuable ideas for our products and for our development technologies/processes, as well as integrate with the team.
Required: � RDBMS, DB2, Oracle, MS/SQL, or Sybase experience in production OLTP � Fluent with J2EE architecture, JDBC and XML � Development experience on Linux platform � BS in Computer Science or equivalent
A Plus:
� Experience designing a security architecture including IDS (Intrusion Detection), authentication, authorization, and access control
� MS in Computer Science or equivalent
