There is an immediate need for several Information Assurance/C&A
consultants in Fort Meade Maryland.

To be considered for this job, you must have a current Top Secret SCI
clearance with full lifestyle polygraph.

Job Summary:

Candidate will participate in the delivery of client projects with
primarily responsibility for C&A assessments of Federal / Defense
applications and general support systems.  Candidate must have demonstrated
experience in documenting security architectures of Government information
systems including in-depth knowledge of Department of Defense, military
service, or Government Civil requirements for Information Assurance.  In
addition, candidate must have expertise in the certification and
accreditation process as outlined in Department of Defense Directive
5200.40 (DITSCAP) or in System Security Plan development guidelines
contained in NIST Special Publication 800-18.  The candidate will also
participate in writing and presenting proposals for large and complex
engagements.

Minimum Job Requirements:

Education:
Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering,
or related discipline required.  CISSP or GIAC certification desired. U.S.
citizenship and active security clearance is required.

Experience and Skills:
�     3-5 years experience in performing Risk Assessments, and in
developing Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) plans and procedures,
security test reports, and other associated deliverables for system
accreditation.
�     Thorough knowledge of and experience assisting federal agencies
comply with either, NIACAP, DITSCAP, or OMB A-130 certification and
accreditation guidance.
�     Knowledge of Windows NT/2000/XP, UNIX, Linux, Router, Firewall &
Networking systems from a security perspective.  Must be able to evaluate
security controls in place on Government information systems and make
recommendations for improvement.
�     Strong understanding of information system security engineering
processes, security architecture methodologies, Industry best practices and
generally accepted information security principles.
�     Advanced project management, planning, organizational communication
skills, and ability to scope prospective engagements, develop proposals and
negotiate project contracts.
�     Excellent leadership and team development skills.  Advanced written,
verbal communication and presentation skills. Demonstrated mastery of
security consulting at the senior management and executive level.
�     Ability to formulate and communicate highly technical and complex
security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences in a clear
and effective manner.
