Ben has given you a lead on public news servers. I would then ask you if
you have WWW access? If yes, there are several WWW-To-USENET gateways on
the web. I have five of them listed in the SeeknFind MoLinks site. Just
scroll down to the heading:
"WWW Gateways to USENET"

If you have access to the WWW, I think you will find more of the
newsgroups you seek at these WWW sites, than any free public access
server.
