In mailing list topics, I think recipe lists are only second to joke
lists as the most lists per topic. :-)
eGroups has a zillion recipe lists and many are quite good with large
subscriber bases.

Just enter the keyword "recipes" in the search box and then prepare to
spend a lot of time looking over the lists.
Oh...and <ahem>...ASHLists has a recipe list that unfortunately not too
many wanted to subscribe. <sigh> I guess it was too specific. <g> You
