What about the animated TV show "King of the Hill"? That takes place in the
fictional town of Arlen, Texas. I'm not sure how accurately "King of the
Hill" portrays Texas, but it does show people with Texan stereotypes leading
normal lives. As for accents, watch for Boomhauer, the man you can just
barely understand.
