I have a different spin on "militant agnostic". True, it probably is intended
to be somewhat of an oxymoron. However, compare "militant religionist" (if
there really is such an expression). Such an individual might say, "I believe
in God and you'd better too." Contrariwise, a "militant agnostic" says the
below.
What good is a bumper sticker no one understands? It's like a joke that has to
be explained; by that time, it's not funny. How many people are there
subscribed to this list? And to think, very few of us got it. Maybe I get it
because people might consider me a militant religionist (I just don't preach
online). ;-)
I think we should all avoid reading bumper stickers and ESCHEW OBFUSCATION.
