Halon turns into Phosgene when heated in a fire, otherwise the unsuspecting
owner of a Halon extinguisher is quite safe! My recommendation however? --
Turn in ALL halon extinguishers for an ABC model as the bi-products from
heated halon will kill you twice as painfully but half as fast as the fire
you're fighting!
