[SaF] Recording VHA on a CD

I have fitted an HP CD R-RW 0on to my computer. I would like to record the
contents of VHS tapes
on to a CD. Is there any software which would enable me to do this.
Otherwise what is the least expensive hardware I could use.
Any advise welcome
