Hiya there. I Beta Test for AOL, and v6 has many issues. None the least
their lack of choice between html vs text mail. I have stuck with v5, and
have had no problems. I keep my v6 on a separate drive as a matter of fact,
just to fulfil my BT duties, and to keep my free AOL account. I use it for
NOTHING else. However, I have no problems with my modem when I do use it, and
I have a modem dating back to the first 56ks that were introduced ::snicker::
I also have to say that, other than a few gliches, I have had NONE of the
problems that so many others complain about with AOL. I'll see what I can
find in our BT library re: modem issues and the new v6.
