Naturally you would need a microphone. The software you use will tell
you any other hardware requirements, i.e. sound card, you will need.
I know nothing of the following program, but you can check this out:
"Objective Voice E-mail Enterprise Edition"
Adds Voice EMail capabilities to your MS Outlook 98, Outlook 97 (Office
97), MS Exchange, MS Windows Messaging or any MAPI compliant Mail
reader. Now you can receive your Objective Voice EMail(tm), regular
internet mail, interoffice mail and your faxes in one Unified Inbox.
Send highly compressed Objective Voice EMail(tm) messages right from
Outlook/Exchange/Windows Messaging.
This is costware that downloads as a demo. The full version will cost
you $19.95.

"Voice Mailer" is another program just like the above, but only costs
$5.00. There is no home page for this software. You can evaluate this
demo by downloading the software:

In addition to that, see the listings of e-mail clients at
Winfiles.com. Many of them feature voice capability:

Example: Eudora Pro ships with a plugin called PureVoice that gives
that mail client a voice feature.

Hmmm...someone correct me if I am wrong, but I believe the free Eudora
Light downloads with the PureVoice plugin, thus giving you a free
client with voice capability.

Check that out. :-)
