Hello Seekers and Finders. :-)
Yesterday's troubles with the Majordomo seemingly shutting down had to
do with a corrupted SendFile, which is the software that actually
distributes our list. The Majordomo software is a mailing list
management software, but the SendMail program is the actual distributor
used by Esosoft.com .
Anyway, SendMail got corrupted and had a domino effect causing more
problems that kept us shut down for a while. As you can see, it is all
fixed now.
Our SeeknFind list recently got some unexpected publicity and we have
added over 200 new subscribers in the last 24 hours. I would like to
extend a personal welcome to all our new subscribers. :-)
I also want to convey to our members that when such an occurrence
happens on a mailing list it is quite common to get subscriptions from
individuals that only wish to cause mischief to a mailing list. Most
of these types are bouncing to me without your having to bother with
this but a few are surfacing onlist.
In any event, just ignore those kind of posts and I will take care of
it as soon as possible.
